LIPS Corporation and Axiomtek Co., Ltd. recently announced their partnership to offer the LIPSedge Ex Series, a product bundle that comprises LIPSedge 3D Camera Series powered by NVIDIA® Jetson ™ Family from Axiomtek. The bundle was unveiled during the NVIDIA GTC 2021 event and aims to address the long-standing hardware and software compatibility issues associated with 3D vision application development.
With the LIPSedge Ex bundle, customers can deploy time-to-market 3D vision applications with guaranteed compatibility and performance-based NVIDIA Jetson platforms. LIPS will provide six different models of 3D Depth Cameras while Axiomtek offers two NVIDIA Jetson models that cover various 3D vision technologies, form factors, and targeted applications.
LIPSedge AE400 Ruggedized 3D Camera, with Axiomtek AIE900-902-FL, powered by NVIDIA® Jetson AGX Xavier™, featuring 6USBs, 2 GigE LANs, and 4 GigE PoEs, is suited for applications such as Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), Robotic Arm Control, AI Computing, and Smart City.
On the other hand, the LIPSedge M3 Compact 3D ToF Camera, with Axiomtek Axiomtek AIE100-903-FL-NX , powered by NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ NX, is best suited for access control, recommendations, behavior analysis, identity management, applications in Smart Retail or Smart City, and features an ultra-compact form factor with 1 GigE PoE and support up to IP42 rating waterproof protection.
