LIPS and AAEON Joined Forces to Accelerate NVIDIA Isaac Adoption

 

Taipei, Taiwan, Dec 2nd, 2020 – LIPS Corp. and AAEON today announced the passing of the official NVIDIA ISAAC Certification Test of LIPSedge AE400 Industrial 3D Camera with AEEON Embedded BOX PC with AGX Xavier that works with the latest NVIDIA Isaac SDK 2020.2.

 

NVIDIA Isaac SDK is industry’s first Robotic AI development platform with simulation, navigation and manipulation. It gives developers the power to take robotic training virtual with a suite of development tools for high-fidelity simulation and advanced real-time rendering. Once a simulation is complete, the trained AI can be quickly transferred to real-world robots. Developers can then iterate and tune the robot testing methodology, trading intelligence back and forth between the two environments to accelerate the robotic application development.

 

LIPSedge AE400 is an Industrial 3D camera with ruggedized enclosure and IP67 classification designed for the stringent industrial environment. It also supports GigE with PoE which allows both faster data and higher power over distance (100 m) in a single cable comparing to USB. LIPSedge AE400 is certified with the latest NVIDIA Isaac SDK 2020.2 that optimizes for NVIDIA Isaac™ applications with AGX Xavier.

 

AEEON Embedded BOX PC with AGX Xavier is powered by the NVIDIA® Jetson™ platform and provide interfaces needed for edge computing in a small form factor. AEEON BOXER-8251AI featuring the new Jetson Xavier™ NX, a powerful, compact AI processing module with 384 CUDA® cores, 48 Tensor Cores, and two NVDLA engines capable of running multiple neural networks in parallel and delivering processing speeds up to 21 TOPS.
