LIPS Corporation. announces its strategic participation in the upcoming Embedded Vision Summit (EVS) 2026 Exhibition, scheduled for May 11-13 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. During the event, LIPS will join forces with its partner, @NAMUGA, to showcase the LIPSedge™ T235, an advanced ToF machine vision terminal featuring VGA resolution, on-board FPGA acceleration and Backside Scattering Technology (BST) to resolve real-world illumination challenges. Besides this, LIPS is also proud to showcase the LIPSense™ 3D Body Pose SDK V7.2, an industry-leading middleware designed for full-body skeletal tracking, leveraging high-performance AI machine vision technology for enhanced spatial intelligence.
The LIPSedge™ T235 serves as a cornerstone of the LIPS portfolio. Designed for indoor applications, this machine vision terminal delivers fluid and accurate live depth image within the working distance of up to 6 meters. The on-board FPGA acceleration offloads heavy ToF decoding tasks, allowing host systems to focus on high-level application logic. By combining rapid depth perception with clear color imaging, the device facilitates the development of responsive gesture controls and seamless occupancy tracking, fostering a more intuitive and intelligently automated space.
Complementing the hardware is the latest iteration of the LIPSense™ 3D Body Pose SDK. This software suite offers unparalleled flexibility, supporting a multi-discipline framework for tracking up to 43 people simultaneously. The V7.2 update provides real-time skeletal data for 32 body keypoints and an additional 40 keypoints for two-hand tracking in its Pro version. Its capability for 360-degree motion tracking—including challenging side, back, and lying poses—is a direct response to the market’s need for comprehensive human-centric analytics. Furthermore, the SDK is optimized for high-performance computing platforms, including Intel® OpenVINO™ and NVIDIA® Jetson Xavier™ & Orin™, ensuring that developers can deploy robust solutions across Windows, Linux, and JetPack environments.
Through the collaborative efforts with NAMUGA at Booth #509, LIPS aims to bridge the gap between complex sensor data and actionable insights. Visitors can witness how these technologies facilitate advanced people counting, gesture recognition, and spatial analysis in real time. This partnership underscores a shared commitment to accelerating the adoption of physical AI by providing the market with reliable, production-ready vision technology.
Empowering the Next Generation of Spatial Intelligence.
